Brian & Lizzie's Ketubah

Ketubahs are Jewish marriage contracts dating back 2000 years In ancient times, it clearly spelled the legal & financial rights of women in a marriage. In modern times, it has become a beautiful part of the wedding ceremony reflecting the couple's mutual commitment to love, honor & respect one another. This piece was created with much input from Brian & Lizzie and it reflects my interpretation of their cherished symbols, images and words. Vows written by the couple are incorporated within. In this piece, the couple's actual hands are formed by the continuous writing of the vows and at the tip of their fingers, a repeating key sentence flies out into the heavens melding with God.
In acrylic with jewels and other reflective paint. NOTE: Each Ketubah is unique. Please contact me to design yours!
