The Bodhisattva Way: From the Depths to the Light
This acrylic with mixed media collage was created after a meditation on love and further exploring means of serving.It deals with deconstructing the house that ego built. As the viewer is lured into the canvas attracted by the strong movement of silk strings, semi-precious jewels, faceted crystals and whirling brush strokes, something begins to stir inside. Out of the knot in the bottom where all the action rises, we want to examine the shapes for meaning. There is none! These are the pieces of our ego hurling and swirling through the sea of suffering and transforming itself into an ally as we get to know how our mind works. As we befriend it, the ego ceases to be a needy child constantly craving and aimlessly moving as it realizes that it too can win through attaching to our inner power. Now it can fuel our passions. Our heart/mind is balanced and it unleashes a huge gush of love. Peace and harmony descend as we are one with he entire Universe and accept the gift of serving through our passion to create.
