Sky Dancer Journey
Dakinis are Tibetan Buddhist deities, known to help seekers in their life journey. The term translates as Sky Dancers who are direct, intelligent, and daring in their guidance.
Although Dakinis defy gender assignment, they are imbued with the Yin energy of intuition, or what is generally perceived as a flash of insight whose origin appear mysterious. Most often, when intuition is followed, it will prove to have been the perfect answer to a problem, or the resolution to a situation.
In lay terms, Dakinis are the unexpected helpers that show up in a conversation with a friend, or a stranger, in the paragraph in a book, or movie, or in a situation just witnessed from afar. The “help” may be benevolent or wrathful, depending on the circumstances.
Assistance from Dakinis requires that we cultivate spiritual company and that we trust it implicitly, and my studio is where I most easily connect with Dakinis, because I trust the creative process and honor the outcome.
This particular painting required a conversation with my spiritual team that spread over four months, and it helped me complete another layer of healing regarding my dad. The daily meditations and contemplations enabled me to joyously embrace his and my Dakini role and celebrate a significant milestone.
To better understand the symbolism in the colors, textures and images in the art and how purchasing it can help you in harnessing the power and role of trust in manifesting your dreams, paste this link on your browser, https://bit.ly/SkyDancerPostOct52023
